Bali - Rice Terraces
As the sun rises on our last full day in Indonesia, we find solace in the tranquil embrace of our villa, with its lush surroundings and our private pool reflecting the morning light.
Venturing out, our goal for this day are the rice terraces of bali. Which after renting a scooter and driving through Ubud we did also find.
The terraces, difficult to climb in hot sun, are still beautiful to see. Walking along the winding pathways was quite interesting. Though it is also what it is: rice growing on different layers.
After taking a rest between the palms we returned to Ubud to explore the city more. The sunset created a stunning golden hour.
Arriving back at our hotel, after preparing for the last night and the flight back home, we decided to lay on the balcony to do some star gazing. A relaxing finish for this adventures endeavour.
